Growing Tips for Cadillac Purple Auto

The Cadillac Purple Auto strain should only be taken on by intermediate and master-level growers with plenty of cultivation experience. Cadillac Purple Auto marijuana plants will thrive both indoors and outdoors, but have an easier time growing indoors because of the grower’s ability to manage the climate. If you choose to grow indoors, you will have to replicate a steady environment similar to the climate of the Mediterranean. Cadillac Purple Auto seeds produce plants that are dark green and vibrant purple with dusty, sticky trichomes covering the exterior of the bud sites. If you are going to grow outdoors, you will need to maintain a consistent temperature and humidity to grow these plants to harvest. Doing so will ensure that you grow potent and pungent buds from the top of the plants to the bottom. Having access to a greenhouse is the best way to give these plants the perfect outdoor climate they require without having to put up with unexpected outdoor variables. These plants grow short and can reach around 2-4 feet in height. Because the plants reach a maximum height of 4 feet, they can be grown in smaller grow areas without compromising the integrity of the buds. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 68-86 degrees Fahrenheit and slightly cooler at night. Humidity levels should be kept at 40-70% during the vegetative growth stage and the flowering stage. Growing indoors will ensure that the moderate humidity levels and higher temperatures are constant and maintained every day that the plants are in the growing stages. Low-stress training (LST) and trimming methods are the best techniques for this strain. These methods require a bit of prior experience to be performed correctly. The Cadillac Purple Auto strain requires an 18-hour light cycle to reach the vegetative stage of growth. Because this strain is an autoflowering variety, it does not need a change in the light cycle to induce the flowering stage of growth.

Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest

• Flowering Time: Growing indoors, you can expect the Cadillac Purple Auto strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 55-65 days.
• Yields: While Indoor yields are around 400 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 500 grams per plant. This strain grows smaller in height, so you can grow multiple plants in a smaller grow area to increase the overall yields come harvest time.
• Harvest: Outdoor growers can plan on harvesting their yields around the middle of October, depending on when the seeds were planted.

Cadillac Purple Auto: Sticky Purple Buds

The Cadillac Purple Auto terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes, and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is myrcene, while bisabolol and pinene are the secondary terpenes.

• Myrcene: Most Dominant – Known as the “Mother of all terpenes”, myrcene gives cannabis its earthy and aromatic profile.
• Bisabolol: Secondary Terpene – Found almost exclusively in cannabis plants, bisabolol adds a sweet and floral aroma.
• Pinene: Pine Needles– Pinene is commonly found in pine needles and conifer trees as well as cannabis cultivars.
